Wolf & Bear Weekend

For Wolf & Bear Cub Scouts

Cubs and their adult partners are invited to an exciting weekend camping experience at rustic Rancho Los Mochos Scout Camp. This two-night camping program with Archery, BB guns, Nature, Crafts, and so many more fun activities!

Hikes: Highlander

For ALL Cub Scouts and Webelos!

The Highlander Hike Program encourages youth and adult leaders to experience the outdoor wonders that exist within our Council. The program is a series of 14 progressive hikes with a rocker for each hike.

Hikes: Trail Trekkers

For ALL Cub Scouts and Webelos!

The Trail Trekkers Hike Program is a series of hikes located throughout the Bay Area that can be completed by Cub Scout age youth and their families. These are opportunities for outdoor adventures.

Mom & Cub Weekends

For Tiger, Wolf, Bear, and Webelos Scouts (& Moms!)

Located in the beautiful coastal redwoods of Camp Royaneh. The staff will guide you through a weekend of fun and adventure especially designed to reinforce that mother-child bond. A great escape for Cub Scouts and their moms (or another adult female partner like grandmothers, aunts, etc.).

Scouting for Food

For all Cub Scouts and Webelos!

Scouting for Food takes place on two consecutive weekends, typically in November. On the first weekend, Scouts distribute door hangers announcing the drive. On the second weekend, Scouts revisit those houses to pick up bags full of non-perishable food items. The food is delivered to needy families all throughout the council’s borders.

For Wolves, Bears, and Webelos! We are living in a time of great innovation and discovery with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math leading the way. BSA has developed a program for both beginning and in depth exploration of STEM. GGAC offers opportunities throughout the year for Scouts in all programs to try Come explore with us!

Tiger Cub Safari

For Tigers Cub Scouts!

Deep in the rolling wilds of Wente Scout Reservation live fearsome creatures that no one can tame! They wander the forest howling and yelling with sheer delight; these adventurous creatures are TIGER CUBS! Tigers on Safari shoot bows and arrows for bulls-eyes, run obstacle courses most people would never dare try, explore Nature and go fishing by the lake! But most of all, TIGERS RULE!

Pine Wood Derby

For all Cub Scouts and Webelos!

Where Nascar got its start! This is a great Parent/Cub project. Fashion an amazing racer from a block of wood, decorate it, and then set it loose on a special track. Unlimited opportunities for creative design and color schemes.​​
