Wente Scout Reservation

In 2020, Wente Trust funds were used to repaint and stain the structures in camp.

  • The Lodge was stained to seal the log cabin structure
  • The Barn was sealed and repainted outside
  • The Administration Building was sealed and repainted
  • The Dining Hall was sealed and repainted

Camp Wolfeboro

With a combination of funds provided by the properties endowment and a donor designated gift the Med Lodge and the “Knee Knocker” bathroom facility were replaced.

  • Med Lodge
    • New Building has a treatment/ welcome room. 
    • Two patient rooms
    • on-site washer and dryer
    • ADA accessibility
  • ‘Knee Knocker’
    • Has 8 single stall rooms.  
    • 4 of the stalls have showers
    • ADA accessibility

Camp Royaneh

  • New doors and Center walls in the cabins at Plainsmen and Frontiersmen Villages.
  • New Kubota UTV for use at camp for moving supplies around during the summer camp season.
  • A replacement of Fort Scoutcraft with a new Handicraft storage building. This is being funded by donations from the ‘Friends of Larry Teshara’ and in his memory. Larry passed away in August 2020

Camp Herms

  • Continued forest management . . . reducing ladder fuels and removing dead and hazardous trees makes for a happy forest.

  • A new Polaris UTV for hauling materials around camp.
