Friends of Scouting is our Council’s primary fundraising program; it supports our Character Education and Leadership Training programs.

Founders Campaign
150 volunteers contributed $102,000 in tiered support levels as a unique opportunity to honor our past while looking towards our future as a new council
Popcorn Campaign
GGAC was #4 in the West in Online Popcorn Sales and overall sales totaled $553,175.
Mission Peak District (Popcorn Kernel Anu Zindal) lead the Council finishing the sale at 172% of goal!
Herms District was 2nd with 162% of goal & Tres Ranchos District finished 3rd with 150% of goal.
Golden Gate District, Twin Valley District & Meridian District also receive Honorable Mention as well for achieving goal too.
Tres Ranchos Scouts BSA Troop 555 was #7 in the Country Averaging $3,990 per Scout!
James E. West Fellowship Award
A gift to a local council, designated by the donor to the council endowment fund, qualifies for membership as a James E. West fellow. The gift must be in addition to— and not replace or diminish—the donor’s annual Friends of Scouting support.
